1967 injury_titanuam pin_left calf
In 1967 I was a passenger on a motor bike when we collided with a car on the highway. I received a compound fracture of the left lower leg with a bone coming out of the leg. A "nail" was put in to keep the bone stable while it healed. I wore a plaster cast for almost a year while the bones healed. I chose not to have the "nail" removed & can feel the head of it at my knee. This is the first time in 58 years that I have seen an x-ray of the leg with the "nail" in place.
