Southern Whiteface

Grubby little fella spends most of his time on the ground and picks up the red dust. There were a lot of these birds in certain areas. I surprised a small group in a mixed flock with young chats and thornbills but was hard pressed getting shots as they scrammed into thick cover and moved around as I tried to circle the bushes.
