One of our local guides for the Lares Trek. He used to live in this rural area, but years of city life have made him a lot like the rest of us... Subject to cold. Both of our guides for the trek had big North Face style cold-weather jackets and hiking boots. A pretty big contrast to the horsemen in their shorts and sandals.
