Aer Lingus Airbus A330 EI-GAJ

On Wednesday 23rd May 2018 while operating the Aer Lingus flight EI147 from Dublin to San Francisco, this airbus A330 was involved in an incident at the US airport
Having arrived at the gate, the aircraft was under tow the last few metres by a tug when one of its winglets were damaged on contact with part of the Terminal building
The aircraft flew a number of services to & from the US without the damaged winglet.
On the 31st May 2018, a new winglet was fitted and the aircraft is seen here about to depart Dublin for Boston, operating the flight EI137,on its first service since having a new winglet fitted
