I NEED your help
Things have gotten bad and I NEED YOUR HELP. As you know I have been battling Lymes and two co-infections since I was bitten by a tick last April. Since then I have undergone countless seralogical, radiological, and physical tests. The prognosis is not good, the diagnosis is still waning. Last week another rip in my abdomen sent another tack racing for freedom. After 15 phone calls to Georgetown we got an advocate to help track down what the heck is going on... It turns out that surgery is no longer an option as my body has degenerated too far. Surgeons are worried that I might not survive the surgery or that I would be twice as bad as when I began. My right side is either numb or buzzing, my thoracic spine is degenerating, I have a number of rips in my abdominal wall, metal and mesh are rising, two are protruding. I can barely walk, talk (without gagging), eat, sleep or find any amount of pain killer to take it away.
On Tuesday I see my first nuerologist to schedule a spinal tap. Hopefully the fluid from my spine will give a clue as to what is going on... I will be honest, I am scared. I also feel completely helpless as our family goes deeper in debt and the list of to do's seems to get longer and longer. I am still awaiting disability am not receiving unemployment, due to my inability to work, and have run aground in all metaphors. PLEASE HELP. I have spent the week researching the best printer in the nation and have built an Etsy to sell my photographs... I know that we are all broke, and I HATE asking for money, so please take the time to visit my shop and make a purchase if you can. ALL profits will go to medical bills and food...
