A project we did at EGM's, 2002-2006. (published in "de Architect", februari 2007)
The emphasis for the design of the IT department of Kadaster in Apeldoorn, was on the organizational structure and desired corporate identity. We designed an office building that is characterized by a split-level structure and the presence of 9 voids, 8 of which are located at the facades. A building with a wide range of different spaces and short, informal routes, horizontally and vertically combined with framed views in and out, made for stimulating communication and social networking.
