This is one of a set of nine American illustrations in silhouette which were found in a set of school books, printed in Brazil, in the 1940s. No attribution as to the graphic illustrator. It is the subject matter that establishes the illustrations as Americans. Look at the baseball club and the broken window. I would like very much to know the authorship. I believe, they are from the early 1930s. The set in Brazil, was titled: Vamos Estudar? [Shall we study?]
