Moog Liberation Back Angle #1

The most difficult part of the refinish was the removal of the wood end cheeks from the main control panel. They're glued in, so I had to use heat, sharp objects, and gentle prying to get them off.

 

And you DO have to be gentle, because the main panel fits in a thin slot on the end cheeks, and the cheeks are made of a soft wood, which can crack.
