Oh the story behind the pic...I'm leaning precariously against the wall for a reason and my knee is bent for a reason, lol. I have places to go, and people to see next week, and I NEED to wear this outfit, but heels and my knee are not working in tandem just yet. But good news...I'm at about 95% now, though my co-workers beg to differ. I can walk fairly well with what I consider to be just a little limp, but its much improved over last week. I'm still rocking the knee brace when I go out which soooo does not go with this outfit!
Friday was hot. It was about a bazillion degrees out again. I went to get my hair done and man, talk about heated debate...most hair places you go to, its always shop talk about the men and the drama, but at mine, its all politics. Healthcare was on the docket today and it turned into a screaming match because folks were so fired up. Sheesh! Afterwards I had a long day of cooking and cleaning. I reached a point this week where I was eating cereal out of a mug with a fork...uh yeah, time to bust out the yellow gloves. The night was met with a huge storm which had lightning popping right outside my window. I wanted to capture the storm on film but I just had this vision of me stepping out and being struck, so I opted to just watch.
