DAY 3: FROM CULTURE TO THE VILLAGE

Not much on the docket today. I couldn't get my shhhh together long enough to do much. I had one of those weird nights where sleep was rather elusive. I did remember my dream though...I was at an antique market and I bought a blue jean apron with patriotic letters that said the classic "Kiss the Cook," but then I told the vendor, I'm going to wear it out of the booth, and she told me sit for a moment, asked me the price which I leaned over to show her, 8.99, and then she started asking me personal questions like where did I work, and why did I want the apron. Um, weird.

So when I did manage to get myself together I went to the Fine Arts Museum which thank gawd I wore tennis shoes to. The place is massive with a capital M. This pic I took in the bathroom which I deemed the "most symmetrical room in the world." Everything lined up exactly right. It was weird and space agey. I typically hate these cheesy look at me in the mirror with my camera shots, but I was so F'ing frustrated. I wanted to get some great shots of the museum but everywhere I went the damned museum mafia was following me telling me no photography, step back, too close, no cell phone pictures (even though I don't have a camera phone and as I pointed out I was simply turning the thing off so it wouldn't ring and disturb others!!!).

It was really annoying. I mean there was a room in which this weird video of a guy dancing with meat on a stick as these crazed dogs tried to get at it, and that was all that was in this dark room, but as I sat down out of the corner of my eye, there was a museum mafia member just standing there, watching me, watch the film. Really, I thought, really...its not enough for you to follow me, but you have to watch me watching a film...like what am I going to do in here, its not like I can take the giant flatscreen anywhere. On top of that I was on the third floor, hello! I know its there job, but geezus, calm down.

After that it was off to the Village where I caught my second Victorias Secret sale, hollah. I now both look super good underneath (lol) and smell fantastic. Beauty Rush, how I love the.
