Streamliners 2016- Going Home

Following a most successful Streamliners 2016 locomotive display weekend, the SSR sponsored group, along with LVR's 4204 and the historic GM1 are on their way back from Goulburn NSW to Parkes.

The movement provided a sight never before seen in Australia, of nine classic EMD Australian bulldogs coupled together on the mainline. This just topped off a weekend of many firsts.

GM1 is at the very beginning of her trip across the continent to its new home in Perth. 4204 will be detached at its home base of Cootamundra, and S306 will return to storage on behalf of owners, Pacific National. The remaining locomotives will return to work on Southern Shorthaul Railroad's roster.

A big thank you to SSR and Jason Ferguson for your amazing support to Bernie Baker's idea, allowing the show to come to fruition.

The lash up comprises B61-4204-S317-GM27-B65-GM10-S306-S302-GM1 as light engine movement D337.
