Camp 1 bridge

Typical cement bridge railings ( you can still see some around, this once traversed a gulch, now filled in, that contained a rail line.) which were common everywhere. This is at Camp 1. Spreckles had a sugar mill near here which was taken over by the Maui Agricultural Co. They built the Pa'ia Mill. The MA Co. was absorbed by HC&S (Hawaiian Commercial and Sugar Company) to become the largest in Hawai'i. It's the last sugar company and only has one mill still operating in Pu'unene and is marketed as C&H sugar.
