Yank magazine wrote "Frank Kviatek could shoot the enemy through his iron cross at 500 yards"
When Frank was captured by the Germans in the battle of the bulge he was taken to a German bunker and questioned - They found Yank Magazine in Franks pack - A picture in it showing Frank with his 1903A4 sniper rifle and an article. Luckily for Frank none of the Germans there could read English so he was let off the hook. The article stated Franks feats of killing over 50 enemy soldiers and his hate of the Nazi system.
