Lumen Print 1303 Dogwood. Adox Variotone Premium Warm Tone FB 8x10 in. paper. This paper lumen prints better when exposing it to strong direct over head sunlight. Overcast light will produce a less satisfying lumen print. I had to greatly expend this prints exposure time because of overcast light and rain showers. After exposing this print for eight hours during the first day, I brought the print in for the night and then exposed the print for an additional hour to strong sunlight the following day. I will try to make a similar composition with the same species using more optimal sunlight. I think the first days exposure set the character of the print and there was no chance of forcing the print toward a more character expectation form this paper.
