Did I Say Patience?

I was on the 38th floor of a condo in Singapore looking at the Kallang River filled with kayaks. It's so fascinating to see how tiny we humans are. The serenity of the river, the cool breeze and the rays of the sun appealed to me but it was the rivers' patience that struck me more than anything else.

Patience is one of the greatest challenges that proves to be both humbling and gratifying experience. And dear Life, i can't thank you more than enough.

"One cannot predict when it will come. Only one thing can be said categorically, that if you are impatient, it will not come. The more impatient you are for it, the less is the possibility, and if you are patient, it is bound to come. The more patient you are, the closer it is. If your patience is absolute, then it can happen right this very moment. But everything depends on patience. Patience is prayer and patience is trust and patience is love. Patience is nothing but a fragrance of trust. The night is dark but one trusts that the dawn is coming. Each moment is coming closer and closer."- Osho

"Rivers know this: "There is no hurry. We shall get there."-A. Milne
