North Side Deer
I took these photos last night when I went for a walk along the North Side of the River Coquet. Some movement caught my eye up in the sand dunes and I got a real surprise when I saw a deer staring back at me. I've been going over there for years at all different times of day and year, and this is the first time I've ever seen a deer there. Nearby on Helsay Point, they're quite a common sight, but not in the dunes. Spotted the same deer on the way back along and got a couple more. I realise I'm not going to win any wildlife photography competitions with these, but thought they might be interesting to anyone who knows the area.
