scarf with pockets!

I made this for a little girl I tutor. I promised her a prize at the end of the semester if she worked hard. I get the feeling her family is struggling some, because she mentioned once how she got to pick out her coat at a Coats for Kids place but couldn't get gloves.

 

So, I figured a nice, warm, hand-knit scarf and some gloves would be worth a lot more to her than a coloring book or box of markers. I made it myself, and I love the design! Each end has a little pocket, perfect for holding your gloves or just keeping your hands warm!
