The Shenval Press now lives in Soho - advert for the Shenval Press, 1946

The Shenval Press were one of the more important protagonists of quality typography, design and printing in the UK during the mid-20th Century and were printers of various of the 'quality' typographical journals of the day. This fine advert from a post-WW2 copy of Alphabet & Image includes a charming sketch of their Soho, London, address by Hugh Casson.
