The company's origins were in 1921 running charabanc excursions and tours and later the company became an important player in the express Oxford to London services. The concern sold out to Red & White Motor Services in 1948 and, upon Nationalisation of that concern, the control of the company was gradually passed to neighbouring Thames Valley; the fleet name continued to be used until mergers under the aegis of the National Bus Company saw the name vanish in 1971.
