A small 12 page catalogue issued by the publicity conscious Lonodn & North Eastern Railway that details the range of publications and souvenirs available for purchase. Not dated but the contents, and a small inscription, make 1936 seem a good bet.
The publications ranged from the annual edition of "The Holiday Handbook", a vast publication full of details as to resorts, travel and accomodation in areas served byt he LNER, to the series of walking and rambling guides the company issued. The other main line railways issued similar books. The catalogue also mentions that the various and now highly sought after pictorial posters "by famous artists", and for which the LNER was famed, were available for purchase.
THe LNER also issued various paperweights, jigsaws and drawings based on famous locomotives.
