Royal Air Mail - GPO booklet, 1964 designed by London Typographical Designers Ltd.
One of the finest little items I've found in a while this - just something very bold about this 1964 booklet for the GPO designed by the London Typographical Designers Ltd, who my have been formed just post-WW2 and who appeard to cease business c1970. The typeface is, I believe Hyperion, and at this scale looks grand. The only odd thing in a way is the use of the very ancient royal postal cipher especially as the booklet was to advertise the increased modernity of the air mails service thanks to jet airliners. The booklet is very well produced and printed by Tillotsons of Bolton in Lancashire.
