Nova was a highly profitable chain of English conversation schools that could be found everywhere. Stories about the crap treatment and outright scams being pulled on employees and customers alike could also be found everywhere.
Their demise came about when the courts ruled that their scams were in fact scams and that they had to start reimbursing dissatisfied customers. This opened a floodgate that collapsed the company within a few months, but not before they managed to rip off their employees by failing to pay them for the last few months. Good riddance.
