Not only is the ten mile long Blackwater Canyon Trail the most scenic rail to trail in West Virginia, but with the roar of the Blackwater River, it might be one of the most pleasing to the ears. Rugged trail conditions can not be overcome with a road bike. And the grade of the trail is probably pushing three percent.
