Istiklal Caddesi (Istiklal Avenue) is one of the most famous streets in Istanbul. It is at the center of the once bohemian Beyoğlu; an area where a lot is still happening in the arts. Along with several gallery space, Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center is located on this Avenue.
