Power Holiday Recycling

One of my friends suggested that we gift one another with things we had loved or things we were kindly regifting . . . or things we were not using, personally.

 

Immediately, I grabbed on to her idea. There were so many things I could use to bless someone else.

 

One of the benefits of living a little while is one may begin to have things they would like to share or don't have time to enjoy themselves. Lately, I find myself looking at my things this way often.

 

So when this idea came up, I immediately thought of the wonderful classical music which came to me after the weak moment of responding to an informercial (something I have never done before!).

 

I really enjoyed selecting an unused CD for each of my friends based on finding one song title that related to the person's personality. It made me laugh to see my friends in these titles.

 

My one friend got, "Dance of the Bumblebee." If you knew her, you would laugh too.

 

All of the CDs were from this "Power Collection" with each relating to water, air, earth, fire, etc.

 

I thought it was great fun to "re-empower" friends through music. If you have not tried it this holiday, I recommend it . . . it's not too late.

 

Why not consider a "New Year's Resolution of Recycling" party? You may be surprised at how much fun you may have laughing together!
