Self-awareness

All of the six who related more to the looking-glass self while being high also said they are more aware of themselves when they're high. One student describes themselves as such, "I am extremely aware of myself when I'm high. Almost everything I do I analyze, thus making me more

anti-social and introverted when I'm stoned."

Of the five that don't relate to the looking-glass self more when they are stoned, only 2 said that they were more aware of themselves and their mannerisms. Both responded they their experiences are more positive than those who relate to the looking-glass self.
