I just made this tonight.
It took 1 hr.
take an old book.. trace the kindle on first page.. cut out the center of the pages with a razor blade.. secure inside edges of the pages to the back cover with wide tape or something..
spray the inside with tacky spray glue..lay in a piece of velvet.. form the velvet around the kindle and press down firmly..trim the velvet .
