Broad-winged Hawk - Holyoke, CO - 2012

Photographed on 16 September at Holyoke (central park), Phillips County, CO. This species is found with some frequency during spring in CO but is much scarcer during fall. Again, I am guessing, but I'd say 5-10 per fall is about right. Peak occurrence is from mid-September into early October. This was one of two birds present at Holyoke that day.
