In the High Peak area of Derbyshire the remote Dowlow and Hindlow quarries are separated by Briggs Sidings seen in the foreground here. 66 075 is standing on the one time L&NWR line between Buxton and Ashbourne which lost its passenger service on 1st November 1954. The small 'Dowlow Halt' built for the quarry workers is still discernible when not buried by snow and is towards the rear of the train here, it's now the Network Rail track boundary point after which the line is owned by Breedon Aggregates Ltd. 66 075 is waiting time in the bitter cold with train 6H52 the 13.05 to Ashburys Stone Terminal in Manchester.
