Pelicans!
While we were in the Pismo area, we drove North to Shell Beach. There was a craft fair being held here near this bluff. After visiting the vendors, I walked to this location because of the pelicans. I have never seen so many of them in the same place like I did here. I asked one of the locals if this was normal and he said he hadn't seen pelicans like this either. There were hundreds of them on this rock and the surrounding shoreline. When I took this picture almost all of the pelicans took off at the same time and started circling the area. It was a pretty spectacular sight to see.
