Mdina of Malta Glass vase

I found this at Value Village for .69 cents!!! The lady at the checkout kept turning it upside down telling me it was some sort of glass lampshade part. Haha. it was all covered in wax and grime and I didn't realize it was signed on the bottom until after I cleaned it!
