Ant mimic jumping spider – Synemosyna formica

These spiders sure are variable! I've never before seen one with a "swollen" abdomen – obviously mimicking an ant with same – nor this color. It actually had me fooled until I examined my photo at home. Perhaps mimicking ants in multiple ways prevents them from keying on a particular appearance.
