THE LONELY GATE.
the moss and lichen covered old wicket gate, (hunting gate) at branxholme easter loch. a wild and lonely place, high up on the borders moorland. i can still recall going through this old gate many years ago when out hunting on me little old pony, the grass being on both sides. and the the old private fishing sign out in the water being on dry land, years of storm winds and water action have eroded the land, with the loch water reclaiming it. hawick, scottish borders, scotland.
