GOT THE TIME.
this old clock tower, on the derelict dickson's and laings, wilton mills. (wultin mill) is a 100+ years old building and is now just used by the local feral pigeons, and is about to be demolished (part demolished) the powers of above say. they reckon they will save the old clock tower, and the baronial tower at the back, and build it into the new building, "will they ???" only time will tell. if it all goes, the hue and cry will be as loud as thunder, as this is one local landmark the people of this town want to keep, there is not much from the past left now, of the grey auld toon - historic scotland should pay more attention to this one. hawick, scottish borders, scotland.
