Bluejacket builder visit
Henry and Diane are building a Bluejacket 28 in Virginia. They are in Texas for a month or so doing volunteer work with a church group.
Henry lived for a brief period in Lynchburg, Va which is Ann's home town thus they compared notes on who knew whom.
They are a strong boatbuilding team with Diane specializing in mixing epoxy. I'm envious.
Henry had many pictures of completed Bluejackets which I found most helpful in learning of owner personal touches.
After visiting with us, they were off for the 50 minute drive to vist Ed and Terry for a tour of their near completed Bluejacket 27.
Edit: 05/2014 They have launched their boat and departed on the Great Loop voyage.
Edit: 10/29/2014- Henry and Diane are six months and 4300 miles into their one year Great Loop cruise. They are very pleased with their boat 's performance and report that they are frequently approached by admirers of their Bluejacket. Many believe that their boat is a restoration of an antique craft.
