It's my turn to tell 10 facts about myself:
1. Everybody thinks I am lazy, but that is not true. I am just misunderstood. I am a sheepdog. I love herding, but unfortunately my family won't buy me any cows, sheep, chicken or rabbits, not even a few mice. I have to be satisfied rounding up butterflies, bees and my sister Yoda.
2. Can catch tennis balls. But I don't like it. I am a sheepdog, not a ball boy... Might catch the odd ball, but after 2 or 3, I won't move. You can throw the ball right at me, I won't flinch, even if it bounces off the top of my head... So please don't do it!
3. I am very stubborn. I like things my way.
4. I'll just about do anything for food. Can sit, lie down, play dead, roll over, spin around, shake hands and look really cute, if asked nicely with a treat.
5. Love to delay going to bed at night by pretending to search for the water bowl and drinking very slowly and for a long time (most of the water ends up on the floor instead of in my mouth anyway...)
6. Very tolerant when being cuddled. Don't mind being lifted, pulled closer or squashed a bit, as long as I am patted and the attention is focused on me.
7. Favourite game: tug of war with soft toys. Second favourite game: pulling the stuffing out of soft toys.
8. Very tough. Don't complain at all when getting my vaccinations at the vets.
9. Will hypnotize you to love me, if you look into my eyes for too long...
10. Love comfort. Have taken over the kids' beanbags and their old baby mattress, but nobody minds as long as we stay off sofas and beds.
(10.b Know how to make the kids let me sneak under their blanket occasionally... Able to lie very still, so nobody notices.)
