Waiting To Be Served

Mourning doves are regular visitors to our feeders. The difference between their habits and those of the chickadees and others, is that these birds show up and sit in the tree and stare at the feeder like they are waiting to be served! They'll sit there for an hour or more. Can't imagine, with their eating habits, how they manage to be so big.
