No wonder they are a nuisance to farm animals.
The coloring of the stipes is easily seen to the naked eye, but close up looks amazing.
I used two extenion tubes together on my lens to see what might turn out. The 12mm and the 36mm stacked together with the range of 105-70 of the regular lens. Then, I used photoshop to cropped the shot once, to bring it in a little closer.
Also, I have a fluorescent desk light, so I tried a couple test shots and found that the camera's white balance worked well with the fluorescent - cool white selection.
