Cal Poly SLO Olive Trees Moved in 1968
In 1968 these olive trees were moved from the old OH unit on Grand Ave near the entrance to Cal Poly SLO. Several days of hand digging and many words of encouragement from Tony Amato and others, culminated in the trees being hoilsted by large truck wreckers and moved to this present day location.
