So about two weeks ago, I made the mistake of stopping in real quick to get 3 things from JoAnn's. With my kids. So I caved (shock) and got them each a little something. Sammie wanted this glitter card stock. REALLY bad. So I caved. Amazingly, she still hasn't used it and I wanted to. Sooo.... I took the liberty! We can call it Mommy Tax.

 

As a side note, if you've seen my other pages this month you know I like to butcher letter stickers. Today our victims... the r was a u, the s was an 8 (really!) and the a was a d.

Girls Day

This was the day. Kindergarten Roundup.

This is the day when the weepy moms take their soon-to-be Kindergarteners to their soon-to-be school. The kids get to meet their teachers, color, play, have a snack. the moms get a tour of the school and stand around and act all weepy.

It was a big day for my girl so David stayed home with a babysitter. I picked up Sammie from preschool, took her to Reagan Elementary and afterwards we went to lunch at McDonald's. And then, after that we went to our special place: Cupcake Island.

Cupcakes really do make everything better.
