In 1911 he was living with his parents Eli and Elizabeth at High Street, Thornbury, Gloucestershire. He was an assistant in the family buisness His effects went to his father Eli Butt, grocer At rest in Thornbury Cemetery, Kington Lane, Thornbury, Gloucestershire. (not far from the parish church)
