Here are a few quick sketches I did with a still life and a cheap brush ($3 sumi) and scraps of matte board.
It felt good to do these and not worry about precision or going over penciled lines. I tried to get all Bob Ross and let my 'happy accidents' land where they may.
I hope to do more like this with different subject matter.
Been looking at a lot of Ashley Wood, Clive Barker and John Muth.
