Perhaps the most famous ghost in Southern California is Kate Morgan, an 1892 era woman in black that is said to haunt the Hotel del Coronado as well as nearby Coronado Beach. From what I gather, Kate Morgan's ghost appears on the beach at odd hours of the night. Those that have seen her, including the hotel's security officers, describe her as eerie looking.
