Maryland Eastern Shore House, 3 of 4
Four photos of an abandoned farmhouse in Eastern Shore, Maryland. The original structure was added onto over the years, to include the odd front porch, second front entrance, a side room, and back addition with a third fireplace. The roof was originally wood shingle, with additional layers of asphalt shingle and corrugated metal roofing in evidence. Old plywood sheet real estate signs have been nailed over windows on the back addition to the house as additional protection of the decaying structure. The signs suggest that a few pieces of the original property were sold off as building lots (a few newer houses stand nearby).
