Northstar Ski Vacation-January 2008

Lake Tahoe is a great place to spend a vacation and Northstar is one of our favorite resorts. Steve worked there during college and that is where I learned to ski. There are so many activities at the resort it’s hard to decide what to do first.
Instructions:
A cold winter’s night is the perfect time to sit around an outdoor fire pit in Lake Tahoe. The “Northstar” resort has the perfect setting for relaxing. Here are a few tips to help enhance the experience.
Refreshment: Make sure to order something hot and tasty from the bar. Those Lake Tahoe nights can be pretty chilly. These drinks will warm your belly as well as your spirits.
Munchies: After a long day of skiing you deserve a treat. Pick up an s’mores kit and satisfy your sweet tooth. They are perfect to share with a friend, but only if you want to.
Company: The fire pit is the perfect place to meet new people. Strike up a conversation with the person sitting next to you. You never know who you might meet. Just make sure to buy your own s’mores kit.
