Butterfly Mandala "sconce"
Found art butterfly made with found hinge, wire, glass beads, crystal, and bone beads. In some cultures, butterflies are believed to deliver messages between the living and the spirit world--monarch butterflies particularly in Central America as related to Dia de los Muertos. I love the symbology of butterflies for death and rebirth (caterpillar ceases to exist, transforming or rebirth as a butterfly), a favorite theme :)
