Resume Template
*Archived post* I have not posted on my Flickr profile in a while so I am uploading all of my old photos to this account.
The concept for this was to create a simple resume template for work programs and non-profits that is easy to use and would be accessible to those with limited computer literacy. The user does not have to worry about formatting or design because the entire document is a fillable form. And if they do not have enough information to fill certain parts, or if they wished to remove whole sections, I’ve put in the option to collapse and remove parts of the resume through tabs in the margins. Detailed instructions are provided in bullet points with the template and simple directions come up when the user clicks or rolls over certain sections of the document.

I mainly did this to teach myself to better use Microsoft Word’s developer tab and for funsies. I obviously have a weird concept of what’s fun… I also had a thought that it might be interesting to either host a web service for non-profits to share similar templates and documents or to start an agency dedicated to creating and developing tools and methods to increase the efficacy of non-profit programs. Basically, something to help those in the business of helping people focus on helping people, rather than deal with tedious and distracting busy work.
If anyone has some special requests or had an idea for a document they’d like to see or create, I’m welcome to suggestions and willing to make them, albeit as time allows.
