Lightning Over Brighton Wind Farm 18th July 2017
Well, the forecast was correct:-)
Was at the Hove Place pub meeting up with all from Brighton and Hove Camera Club for a Tuesday pint. I was keeping a close eye out on the rain radar for the incoming storm that was due to arrive after chucking out time.Packed a camera and tripod in the boot of the car in anticipation.
Popped up to Devils Dyke Road on the way home and grabbed this shot prior to the rain coming in.
Looks like 4 of the turbines on the new wind farm off the coast at Brighton got struck.
Technique :-
25 second exposure (hit and hope) with an aperture of f11 so not to overexpose the Brighton lights and foreground.
