Day 218 of Living Gratefullly
To help commemorate our 31rst wedding anniversary yesterday, my wife Amy bought a ring that was made in Bali. We felt the timing of the purchase was propitious, as she's been on a Bali kick of late, and has designs on a Bali-esque abode of our own. Sounds good to me!
Of course, the mere mention of Bali puts me in mind of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific, and in particular these lyrics from the song Bali Hai:
If you try, you'll find me
Where the sky meets the sea.
"Here am I, your special island
Come to me, come to me."
I'm grateful for the special islands in each of our lives. :)
