The problem with backlit shots, is there is always obstacles in the way (3 of)

Anyway, the Otters, Bitterns and Kingfishers played a part as to why I haven't posted these before now.
I am very pleased with these. With the sun full on in my face, I had a challenge. I had a great subject. A Little Egret in a tree, full of expressions.
Well, I got more than I bargained for, as I managed to capture some sort of flying bug too lol.
I have so many archive shots to share. Well, I like to look at sunshine on a rainy day, I hope you do too :)
I have to also mention, that with my newish Tamron lens, I am more impressed with the lack of chromatic abberation. That's the blueish fringe. The DOF and accompanying BOKEH is a little strange with this lens, but it's not so bad sometimes. TBC on that subject ;)
